Food Pantry

Over the past couple of years, the residents of Sunset Ridge have been very generous in their support of SBIC (South Brunswick Inter-church Council). SBIC is a collegial effort of 20 local churches banded together to provide charitable assistance to families in need in South Brunswick County.

The Food Pantry, which began on a small scale, is now the foundation for the currently well-established pantry program located in several local churches. It serves an area reaching from the South Carolina border to approximately Supply. The Social Committee on behalf of SBIC would like to thank all our residents who have donated food items at our collection boxes in the Clubhouse. In addition to food items, the Pantry is in need of the following items:

Toothpaste, tooth brushes, men’s and ladies’ razors and deodorant, bars of soap, baby wipes for both infants and toddlers, laundry and dish liquid, toilet paper, and paper towels. All these items can be found at the “Dollar Store” for a buck.

Please consider donating to this worthy organization. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

PLEASE NOTE:   Each month our residents contribute items for the Food Pantry and place them in the green bins located at the entrance of the Clubhouse.

We have begun our monthly collection of specific items for the South Brunswick Interchurch Council Food Pantry. In addition to the regular food items collected by our generous neighbors, each month we will be asking for items that are in short supply at the Food Pantry. These items are specifically needed by families. The local dollar stores are a great place to purchase these items at a great price. Thanks you in advance for your generosity and may God Bless you.

Donations being requested for the month of January are toilet paper, tissues and paper towels.  Donations can be placed in the bins in the club house. Again, we sincerely appreciate your donations.

As always, God Bless You all for your continued support.

Pool Opening Update

Sunset Ridge Master Assn - COVID-19 and Pool Opening

Dear Sunset Ridge Owners:

The health and safety of our residents is one of our top priorities. As we find ourselves in the midst of growing concerns with the COVID-19 virus spreading and the Governor's Executive Order 120 (attached), opening of the pool has been suspended until at least April 25th unless the Executive Order is rescinded. This decision is not taken lightly and is based on recommendations of both state and federal authorities as well as the Center for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/large-events/index.html). We have confirmed that Brunswick County will be conducting pool inspections during this time so that pools will be ready to open when the mandate is lifted if all goes well with inspection. There is a possibility of further delays through executive order.

The Board of Directors, along with Premier Management, are actively monitoring this situation as conditions continue to evolve. We encourage all residents to practice the preventive recommendations as published by the CDC. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you,
Sunset Ridge HOA
Premier Management Company
